Class News

Class of 2005   *The Fashion Show was a huge success. Special thanks to our student coordinators, our parent liaisons, Hope Gabor and Diane Discepolo, and all of their committees for jobs well done. Also, thanks to all those who in some way donated to the success of the evening; your support is very much appreciated. *Unfortunately. 23 students still have not brought the required money for Caps and Gowns. These students have been notified that the cost will increase to $50 after the February vacation. Also, calls will be made to their parents. Failing to comply with this requirement will negate their ability to walk at graduation.

Class of 2006  *Don't forget to schedule an appointment with guidance about college selection, as requested in letters sent home last month.

Class of 2007  *Check the below box for semi-formal ticket details. *Sophomore Showcase will be held on Thursday, March 24, at 7PM, in the auditorium. All are invited to attend. Mission: Bossou Benefit Concert April 15!

The Mission: Bossou organization encourages the entire BCA community to attend our second annual Benefit African Music Concert on Friday, April 15, in the BCA auditorium. There will be an entertaining African dance group performing as well as a riveting music ensemble. All donations and money raised from this concert will fund our ongoing supply shipments and clinic renovation project for the village of Bossou in the Republic of Guinea. In addition to being an entirely student-run organization aiding the village of Bossou, Mission: Bossou also strives to promote awareness of West African culture in the tri-state area. We are sure that you will enjoy this program and have a wonderful experience. We hope to see you there!

Attention:  Junior Parents

You are invited to attend an information session on Senior Experience, scheduled for Monday, March 21, at 7:30PM, in the auditorium.
Senior Experience is a unique Academy program that connects our students to the professional world in the form of internships every Wednesday of senior year. In the process, students experience growth and learning in authentic and diverse workplace settings, ranging from architecture to zoology.
A panel of mentors and seniors will also be there to give their perspective on the experience as participants in the program this year.
The time to start planning for your child's Senior Experience is now, and the first step begins with this information meeting. Please encourage your children to attend as well.
For more information, please contact Dana Picinich, Director of Senior Experience, at 201-343-6000 ext. 3379 or by email at danpic@bergen.org.
